1983 Ford 800 pumper (E5967)

For sale: 1983 Ford 800 pumper, body built by Allegheny Fire Apparatus (Huntington, WV). Retired from the West Middletown Community Volunteer Fire Department, where it served as Unit 301 — its original department lettering is still on the doors.

Only 28,902 miles showing on the odometer (dash photo included). It runs beautifully, and I hold a clean title in hand. A 37-second walk-around video of the truck with the engine running is available.

– Transmission: Manual
– Ford F-800 chassis, 2-door regular cab
– Allegheny Fire Apparatus pumper body, red with diamond-plate trim
– Driver-side pump panel — full stainless panel with complete gauge array, multiple discharges, large suction inlet, and water-level gauge. The pump is believed to work, but it has not been pump-tested in many years and is not currently certified — sold as untested.
– Water tank: capacity not documented
– Ground ladder mounted on the passenger side — included
– Light bar, warning lights, spotlights, and siren as shown in photos
– Rear hose bed and rear compartment with double doors
– Paint, body, and diamond plate present clean and straight — a complete, unmolested department truck, not parted out

A low-mile, original pumper in this condition is getting hard to find — well suited to a small/volunteer department, a farm or private estate truck, parades, or a collector.
