1957 Seagrave Model 530 AR 75-foot (U1038)

1957 Seagrave 530 AR 75’ Aerial Ladder – Original Survivor

Selling a very original and well-preserved 1957 Seagrave Model 530 AR 75-foot aerial ladder truck.

The truck shows approximately 23,000 original miles and retains its original Seagrave 530 cu. in. V12 gasoline engine. It runs, drives, and shifts great. It recently drove approximately 45 minutes with no issues.

Truck Information:

  • Year: 1957
  • Manufacturer: Seagrave
  • Model: 530 AR
  • Manufacture Date: January 14, 1957
  • 75-foot aerial ladder
  • Seagrave 530 cu. in. V12 gasoline engine
  • Approximately 23,000 original miles
  • Original drivetrain
  • Runs and drives very well
  • Transmission shifts properly
  • Very complete and largely original condition
  • Original-style equipment, controls, gauges, lighting and trim remain with the truck
  • Fire Department apparatus with documented history.
  • Retains Princeton Fire Department lettering and appearance

I purchased the truck from a private owner and drove it approximately 45 minutes home under its own power. The V12 runs well, and the truck drives and shifts as it should.

I would like to market it toward a collector or museum that will appreciate its originality and history rather than modify it.

Additional photographs, videos, data-plate photos, engine photos and operating/driving videos are available. Can also provide the information and historical sources I’ve collected on the truck.
